Vance Joy free concert at the Red Bull Sound Space

I was so lucky this week to win free tickets to see singer and songwriter, Vance Joy at the Red Bull sound space in Los Angeles this week. I went to a radio station giveaway event at the Irvine Spectrum Hot Topic store for the radio station KROQ in Los Angeles. I not only won the chance to see Vance Joy, but I won tickets to Foo Fighters and to Iration too. These concerts are all awesome! I had a great time winning the tickets and I just had to play a scavenger hunt and answer some trivia questions to win the free prizes.

Currently Vance Joy is touring with Taylor Swift and tickets to see them perform are about $300 each! So I was so excited to see him play at a small private show. First we had to wait in line to get in the Red Bull Sound Space.

I was so excited to go see Vance because I am a big fan of his music. My boyfriend, Steve, didn't know much about him, but he enjoyed the show too and now he's a fan also.

Once we got inside, there were free Red Bull Drinks to cool us off and only about 300 people in the small studio. We got to be right up front! Then afterwords, they interviewed him and that was fun to watch too!

It was such a great experience. I want to thank KROQ for giving me the chance to see Vance Joy so close up. The sound was great too. I have always had a lot of luck winning concert tickets when I go to an in-store giveaway like this one. Just check the stations web sites for dates where they will be doing giveaways.
