Staples Teacher Appreciation Day will take place in all Staples stores on August 17th. Every teacher can receive 10% off their purchase by showing their teacher ID; and the first 100 teachers at each store will receive a goody bag with free samples plus extra coupons. Teachers can also save on their back-to-school purchases with Staples by shopping the Less List for School, Weekly School Steals, and using Teacher Rewards.
Visit DonorsChoose.org to learn more. In the past I have gone to get a teacher's gift bag from Staples and one year it was just a flash drive. Another year it was a much larger bag stuffed with lots of school supplies. But I have not gone recently. I know you need to go early because they do run out if you wait to go to late in the day.
I also belong to the teacher rewards program from Staples.
When you sign up, you'll start earning up to 5% back in rewards, plus 10% back on teaching and art supplies. Here is a link to sign up for the Teacher's Rewards Program: STAPLES
Also all teachers should sign up for DonorsChoose.org. Teachers can create projects that may get funded by individuals or large companies. I have had many projects funded for my art classes every year. It is worth the time to create a page and you can research the type of projects that get funding from local grants. Disney and Chevron have funded many of my art classes in the past. So go to Staples on Aug. 17th and then create a Donors Choose page to get lots of free supplies for your classroom.
