As a teacher, I could relate to Cass and her struggles because she is a teacher on summer vacation that recently lost her parent after a long illness. I also have a parent that suffers from Alzheimer's. It runs in my family and I could feel the pain and frustration of the struggles that Cass goes through in this thriller. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a suspenseful novel.
I received this novel free from SheSpeaks.com It was sent to me as part of a summer book club promotion. To learn more about this book visit: https://us.macmillan.com/static/smp/the-breakdown/.
